1st Graders Take Science to the Sky: An Outdoor Learning Adventure

Today's Science lesson for the 1st graders at Somerset Brooks was taken outdoors! ☀️ The students had the opportunity to observe objects in the sky and learn about the world around them.

The class went outside and spent time studying the sky, identifying different objects such as clouds, the sun, and the moon. The students also learned about the importance of observing the sky, and how it can help us understand more about the world we live in.

The children were fascinated by the different shapes and movements of the clouds, and enjoyed identifying the different types of clouds. They also had fun learning about the phases of the moon, and how it changes over time.

It was a great way to make science fun and interactive, and the students loved learning outside of the classroom. We believe that hands-on learning is an effective way to help children understand new concepts and retain information.
