1st Graders at Somerset Academy Brooks learn about Moon Phases through a tasty twist: Oreos!
The 1st grade students at Somerset Academy Brooks had a blast learning about the phases of the moon with a tasty twist! Using Oreos, the students were able to create the different phases of the moon and understand how the relative positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun cause the observed lunar phases.
This hands-on learning experience was not only fun but also a delicious way to learn about science. The students were so excited to see the different phases of the moon and how they change over time.
